profiles of poverty

presented by st. vincent de paul & georgia power

St. Vincent de Paul Georgia, in partnership with Georgia Power, launched the Profiles of Poverty photography exhibit in August of 2014. The exhibit sheds light on poverty in our community. Since 2014, the exhibit has traveled to many locations including the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, the Atlanta Regional Commission, Georgia Tech, Mercer University in Macon,  the Chattahoochee Valley Library in Columbus, and many more. As more than 1.8 million Georgians live in poverty, we hope Profiles of Poverty will bring a face to the children, families, and individuals who struggle every day to make ends meet.
