Family Support Centers
The St. Vincent de Paul Georgia Council operates 4 Family Support Centers (FSC) across North and Central Georgia. The FSCs collaborate with local SVdP Conferences and partnering agencies to provide a variety of invaluable services to people in need.
Family Support Center Programs and Services:
For various reasons, one third of people who are eligible for government benefits do not receive them. Staff and volunteer caseworkers screen clients for more than 15 supplemental government benefits including SNAP, TANF, Food Stamps, and Medicaid.
Clients have access to computers and printers that connect them to job resources, news and information, and social networking opportunities.
Client Choice Food Pantry
Each of our Family Support Centers houses a Client Choice Food Pantry that allows clients to "shop"for a variety of fresh meat, produce, and dry goods at no cost. To learn more about the Client Choice Food Pantries, click here.
Education is a central component to moving people on the path out of poverty toward stability and self-sufficiency. To learn more about the Journey Program, click here.

Are you seeking direct aid or financial assistance? Do you need to get in touch with a St. Vincent de Paul volunteer caseworker that you’ve previously met with or have a question about your case? Please provide complete information in the form below so that we may direct the appropriate person to contact you. You may also call the Helpline at (678) 892-6163.
Please Note: SVdP is a volunteer driven organization. Due to the high volume of requests we receive, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to respond to your request. Please do not submit multiple requests to the system, as that will create an even greater backlog in the system.
