Workshop Descriptions:
*Ozanam Orientation and The Home Visit is required for all Vincentians within one year of joining the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

Whether you’ve been a Vincentian for two days or two decades, Ozanam Orientation offers you an opportunity to be inspired, informed, refreshed and renewed in what it means to be a member of The Society and how that membership is to be lived in the Conference and everyday life.

The Home Visit is a very important part of SVdP’s work with its clients. There are specific procedures and guidelines to adhere to as a Home Visitor. In this class, Vincentians will become familiar with the proper way to conduct a Home Visit, from safety protocol to documentation. This part of the day will include an open discussion about home visits.

Led by District 5 Spiritual Advisor, Deacon Mark Friedlein. Deacon Mark will take you on a spiritual reflection that helps to answer the question “Why are we here?”

Please contact Amanda Stricklin at 770-576-4080 or if you have any questions.
