One of the responsibilities of the SVdP Georgia Board of Directors is to create a Strategic Plan to guide our efforts and our investments over the next 3 years. The Board’s Strategic Planning and Programs Committee has developed a Draft Strategic Plan framework and will be offering three “Town Hall” opportunities for Vincentians to provide feedback on the draft plan.
To allow for the maximum amount of time for feedback we will not be reviewing the plan in detail so it’s important that all participants read through the materials below in advance and take some time to reflect on it.
Background: The SVdP Georgia Strategic Planning and Programs Committee, led by Council Vice President Denise Fisher, has been working on the planning process for several months, and so far has received input from our neighbors in need, Vincentian volunteers, staff, leadership, and the Board of Directors. In addition, we have reviewed data about poverty, housing, food, healthcare, transportation, philanthropy, and Georgia’s economic outlook, as well as other successful nonprofit organizations, and highly performing SVdP Councils around the country.
