Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School started as a vision of Archbishop Gregory. Built upon the Cristo Rey Network model, the school only accepts students from families with limited financial resources who could not otherwise afford a private education. Students work 5 full days a month in corporate setting to underwrite 70% of the cost of their education as well as gain real life experience. Over 130 companies in Atlanta support a team of our students, including: The Coca-Cola Company, The Home Depot, UPS, Delta Airlines, most of the healthcare institutions and many law firms and accounting firms.
In 2017, Cristo Rey moved into its permanent home – the Cumming Family Campus - in downtown Atlanta after a highly successful $30M capital campaign. Cristo Rey has 524 students, 125 graduates (96% of whom are enrolled in college) and competes in Cross Country, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Baseball and other sports.
