On the Path to Financial Freedom

John secured a converted loan through the SVdP Georgia High Interest Loan Conversion Program in partnership with Associated Credit Union (ACU). Since then, John successfully paid off his loan of $1,259 after making 11 on-time payments. He went back to ACU with the title on a newer auto that he owned and they were able to approve his request for $3,000.  Even though John’s credit still had some rough patches, he was able to get approved based upon recent payment history on his SVdP conversion loan and will now use the approved $3,000 to pay off more debt, getting him one step closer to financial freedom.

St. Vincent de Paul Georgia partners with Associated Credit Union to provide a High Interest Loan Conversion Program for Georgians in need. This Loan Conversion Program is intended to help make a systemic change in our client’s lives by providing market interest rate loans for Personal Installment Loans and Car Title Loans.

We don’t often get a chance to make such a significant difference in our client’s long-term financial situations, but this program is one of those chances.
